Ondertussen is ook Wilma naar
haar nieuwe gezinnetje gegaan en ze doet het goed, al is de
rust daar nu even verleden tijd..... |

Ginger pups
3 van mijn kleine schatjes
Gingerpups zijn vandaag vertrokken naar hun nieuwe thuis.
Kira gaat bij haar papa wonen, Kacey bij haar halfbroertje
Ferre en Kato gaat bij een heel lief labrador reutje wonen.
Bedankt Luc, Nico en Tinneke, Silke en Francis voor de goede
opvang en verzorging van ons Ginger haar kleine meisjes.
Wilma blijft nog een weekje bij ons logeren, alle aandacht
voor haar alleen. |

5 januari 2012:
Shirley ( de fokster van ons Ginger overleed plots)
Shirley was vanmorgen met
pijn in haar borst wakker geworden, Brian nam haar meteen
mee naar de dokter. Bij de dokter werd haar toestand
kritiek. Helaas was er niets meer dat ze konden doen om haar
leven te redden. Shirley Bell was zo'n kranige Welshe dame,
we zullen met plezier aan haar en haar "Canen" honden terug
denken. Ze fokte haar eerste nestje in 1955. We wensen haar
familie en vrienden veel sterkte bij dit groot verlies......

22 december 2011:
De pups doen het heel goed,
Ginger geniet van haar vier meisjes. Ze zijn nu 4 weken en 4
dagen.

4 december 2011:
Sinterlaas was ook wat
vroeger dan verwacht, het speelgoed dat in de schouw stond
was heel even interessant maar de meisjes vonden het toch
veel leuker om bij de puppy's te zijn.
Dat belooft voor de
toekomst....

22 november 2011:
De puppy's doen het heel goed
en zijn al goed bekomen. Vandaag zijn ze tussen de 40 en 52
gr. bijgekomen.
Ginger wil amper gaan plassen
en laat ze geen ogenblik in de steek.

20 november 2011:
Ginger is vandaag bevallen
van 4 schattige teefjes. 1 Licac wit met tan en 3 bruin wit
met tan. |

16 november 2011:
Ginger is op controle geweest
bij de dierenarts en alles is nog steeds in orde. Op de scan
zijn 4 puppy's gezien en de echo toonde aan dat al de
hartjes kloppen....
Ze heeft nu ook haar tweede
Herpesinspuiting gekregen.

Ginger is drachtig van Gaïco
Vandaag hebben we voor de
tweede keer een echo laten nemen om te zien of alles in orde
is met de dracht van Ginger en .... ja hoor, er waren op z'n
minst 4 puppy's te zien.
Op dinsdag 15/11 zal ze terug
op controle gaan.... |

2011: The first Open European Championship

in Sorø, Denmark.
Vrijdag 21/10:
de zaal is klaar voor de
wedstrijd, eerst nog samen met alle landen en deelnemers aan
tafel voor het diner en kennismaking. Het
diner werd geserveerd als een buffet en bestond uit twee
verschillende voorgerechten, een vleesgerecht en pluimvee
schotel, salade, brood en een dessert. Prachtige kaartjes en
attenties werden er uitgedeeld.
Ongeveer 80 deelnemers van 13 verschillende landen zijn op
dit evenement aanwezig.
Zaterdag 22/10:
Heelwork to music - individuele punten (de 10 eerste moesten
terug tegen elkaar kampen daarom zie je hogere punten)

deden het helemaal niet zo slecht.

Handler is wearing all black clothes,
long leathercoat and sword, to the
dark and dramatic music. Dog made
jump over sword in opening. Precise
movements, very attentive dog that
doesnt take her eyes from her
handler. Well performed dramatic
jumps on handlers body, in cue with
the music and other difficult tricks.
Fantastic finish with the dog
holding the sword in the mouth. Very
catching performance that received
lot of well deserved applauses.

Elegantly dressed handler in black
evening attire. Very dramatic melodious
music which is slow so you can
really see how the dog and handler
move together. This is really
beautiful to watch and such an
ambience in the air. Really
marvellous trotting movements and
good moves. A very artistic
presentation which was fantastic to
watch. The crowd really loved this
performance too.

This dog is 11.1/2 years old which
is quite amazing. Arlette is dressed
in a Greek outfit in black and
orange, performing a traditional
Greek dance. The dog is bowing and
side-stepping in perfect time to the
music and jumping on all paws which
is quite amazing. Now the tempo is
picking up and they are turning and
weaving and there is lovely
trotting moves. and now they are
skipping and turning. Really well
choreographed. and certainly an entertaining
routine which is really well
performed and a joy to watch.

Handler was all dressed in rags, Oliver Twist style, it starts with the dog walking around the props which iare a small box and a bowl. The dog brings a bowl over to “Oliver” a tablecloth is then placed on the dogs back whilst he is standing on his frontis placed on top of the cloth. Wow what balance and such a neat trick. The dog begs for food whilst performing various moves and it’s such a lovely story-telling routine with many changes in tempo and atmosphere. I found it quite magical and very creative. Astounding to see the dog marching around the area on three legs, first holding up a front leg and then later holding up a back leg.

Handler is dressed in black sequin jacket and white shirt. Prop is a stand with music notes and a miniature piano. Dog plays the piano with his paws, in tune with the music… Simultaneus movement of legs (handler and dog). Many very precise movements and difficult moves and combinations. Wild applause from the audience..

Another nice pirate outfit this time in brown. Prop is a white wicker basket placed mid-ring. The dog starts by crawling towards the basket and then walks around it front paws on basket, A ball is taken out of the basket and thrown acorss the ring which the dog then runs over towards and around. A sword is drawn and the routine picks up in pace with the music, and there is some nice sequences and charming variations. I enjoyed the simultaneous jumps and twists from both performers.

Very dapper outfit, black tails, with a violin as a prop!
Slow melodious tune to start with and then it gets very upbeat and fast and the routine changes accordingly. Seems as though the dog even moves its head in time to the music, some fantastic jumps on Luc’s back and over his shoulders and even over the violin. As part of the routine the bow is used to stab the dog, so he is wounded and lying down and gets up again with a definite limp. At one point the bow is thrown across the ring and dog retreives. Fantastic to see as the dog walks backwards behind the handler and jumps high in his arms as the finale (he’s a big dog!). A roar from the spectator stand at the end of the act.
